Affiliate Disclosure
comparis.one is funded by affiliate links. This page explains what that means, what it costs you (nothing extra), and why it does not decide what our comparisons conclude.
What an affiliate link is
Many of the links to products and services on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to buy, we may earn a commission from the retailer or from an affiliate network acting on their behalf. The commission is paid by the seller out of their own margin — you pay the same price you would have paid anyway, and clicking or buying through us never adds anything to your cost.
These commissions are the only thing that funds comparis.one. They are what keep the site online, free to read, and free of intrusive advertising.
Where these links appear
Affiliate links can appear on any page — inside comparisons, in tables, and in the body of an article. Because they are used throughout the site, please treat any outbound link to a shop, brand, or service as potentially commercial, whether or not a specific label is shown next to it. Links to primary sources, official statistics, and reference material are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.
The networks we work with
We participate in affiliate and advertising programmes operated by third parties — for example Awin and the merchants within it — and we may add others over time. When you click an affiliate link you are passed to that network or merchant, and from that point their own terms, privacy notice, and cookies apply. What data they set on your device once you leave our site is explained in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
How we keep it honest
Earning a commission does not buy a verdict. We hold to a few rules, and they are the point of this page:
- We decide what to compare, and what to conclude, on the evidence — before any commercial arrangement is considered.
- No partner sees a comparison before it is published, and none can pay to change a conclusion, improve a rating, or remove a rival.
- When the product we could be paid for is the weaker choice, the comparison says so plainly. A missing or unfavourable fact is shown, not hidden.
- The presence or size of a commission is never one of the attributes a comparison is judged on.
Not professional advice
Our comparisons are information to help you choose — they are not financial, investment, legal, tax, or purchasing advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy any particular product. Where a page discusses odds, prices, or financial products, those figures are for information only. Always do your own research and, where it matters, seek advice from a qualified professional before you commit money.
Questions or corrections
If anything here is unclear, or you think a link is not properly disclosed, please tell us at [email protected]. We would rather fix it than leave it.
