Privacy Policy
comparis.one is a static website with no accounts, no sign-ups, and no advertising or analytics trackers. This policy explains the little data that is involved anyway, and the rights you have over it.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for this site is Hidden Jewel Apps Ltd., registered in Armenia (registration number 1012923), registered address 73, Raffi st., Ashtarak. You can reach us about privacy at [email protected].
What we collect — and what we do not
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies, we do not ask you to create an account, and there are no forms on the site. We do not build profiles of you and we never sell or rent personal data. The only data involved is:
- Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records technical request data — your IP address, browser type, and the time and page requested — to serve the site and keep it secure against abuse.
- Emails you send us. If you email us a correction or a question, we hold that message and your address for as long as we need to reply and keep a record of it.
Affiliate links and third parties
Many outbound links on this site are affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you click one, you leave comparis.one and are passed to a third-party retailer or affiliate network, such as Awin. From that moment their own privacy policies apply and they may set cookies and collect data to attribute the sale. We do not control and are not responsible for how those third parties process your data. What is set on your device is explained in our Cookie Policy.
Our site is served through a hosting and content-delivery provider, which processes request data on our behalf as described above.
Legal bases (GDPR)
For visitors in the UK and EU, we rely on our legitimate interests to keep the site running securely (server logs) and to respond to correspondence you start with us. We do not process special-category data, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
International transfers
Our hosting and affiliate partners may process data outside your country, including outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens for data we control, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected]. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your data-protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
If you are a California resident: we do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not process it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Data retention
Server logs are kept only as long as our provider needs them for security and diagnostics. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our records. We do not keep personal data longer than we need it.
Children
This site is a general-audience reference and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site changes; the date below shows the current version. For any privacy question, contact [email protected].
